Nail Art Captains

Us ladies seek to pamper ourselves in many ways. A day of shopping, treating ourselves to a movie or lunch, a day at the spa, or a simple manicure is some of the ways we reward ourselves for a good job well done on a project or simply just to keep ourselves motivated. Today we will discuss one of the ways we pamper ourselves and that is through nail art.

Nail Art Defined

“Nail Art is a creative activity that draws pictures or designs fingernails. It’s a type of art. These days fingernails and toenails are seen by some as important points of beauty. Also, it is a type of fashion activity, related to manicuring” ( Google, 2016).

Airbrushed Nails

Airbrushed nails can be created in a simple stroke. You can create beautiful faded effects quickly by initiating these steps:

Focus your attention on the base nail ( using gel, gel-polish, acrylic, etc).
Wipe off the sticky layer
Buff the surface of the nail gently,
Remove the dust,
And there you have it, nails are ready to be airbrushed with an airbrush machine (Airbrushing Artistry, Sigourney Nunez, 2016).

In conclusion, nail art seems complex to us that are being serviced. But to certified and trained nail technicians, its quite simple. However, more female consumers are cutting costs and starting to learn airbrushing techniques themselves. Some of them have perfected the skill and have started businesses in the profession. A bonus for those who enjoy pampering themselves with nail art. Free to change things up a little with the lovely nails, consumers find happiness in mastering this new skill.

Behind A Tattoo

image

I’ve always admired the artistry of body art and the statement being made since I can remember. Creative hands, needle points, passion for the skill all goes into the preparation of a creation. Behind a tattoo is pure art, a passion for all kinds of art forms in the world. Although I can never see myself getting a tattoo because of my great fear of needles, I still respect the craft and the artist who creates the message that each tattoo delivers to us.

My Favorite Tats

Sleeves and Back tats are my favorite tats. The area of a tattoo intensifies the message for me. I don’t know if this thought is shared by others when you think about tats. The area of a tat is the window of a connection that links onlookers and observers of tats like myself to the artwork.

Sleeves

Whether sleeves depicts words or an image, they are pure admirations for me. Riveting colors or deep black ink, I love the promotion of the statement or message behind the tat.

Back Tats

Sentimental, back tats speak it loudly. Faces, words, calligraphy is the make up of body art landmarks that has observers in awe. So much passion goes into the detail, of a back tat. Sentimental moments combines themselves in the area’s message and depictions are none like no other.

Tattoos are loved and hated for all type of reasons. But this article is about celebrating the message behind tattoos. This article is about celebrating those who makes such beautiful tattoos possible…the tattoo artist. I’m a lover of tattoos and I always will be. The art within a tattoo draws me in and never lets me go.

The Statue

image

Sculpted,
Engraved,
Admired,
Remembered,
No one can ever forget your beauty,
Be hard as the concrete of a statue or statuette when things are tough.

Sculpt,
Engrave,
Your signature into the stone,
Remember that your life is celebrated,
Today,
Create your own personal statue of you,
Never forget who you are.
