You’re a “young woman” now trying to separate the men from the boys in the world of dating. So what qualities should you be looking for while you wait for a real man to enter your life? Well, the ideal qualities are whether or not he is: honest, trustworthy, loyal, caring, responsible, independent, and mature. These qualities alone separates the men from the boys in the great big “dating world.” Questions you should ask yourself when you think your knight in shining armor has arrived or if you think you’re  in the midst of a “real man” prospect: Does he have your best interest at heart? Is he caring? Does he show he cares in the things that he does for you? Do he consider you when he makes life changing decisions about his life? Does he communicate with you regularly? The questions keep flowing and going. As you continue to date in this beautiful life that we live, you will need to measure the qualities of a man without prejudice. Meaning, don’t go off stereotypes or stigmas of what a real man isn’t. The goal is to find a man that is right for you. And your personality does matter in this instance. Find someone who is fitting for you. Its ok to have standards, but don’t feed into stereotypes or prejudge a man. You have to give a person a chance to love you or hurt you. I know that may be a hard pill to swallow. But how will you know you have a real man if you never stay in it long enough to find out. The ball is in your court at this point.

John F. Kennedy once said, “Ask not what your country can do for you but what can you do for your country.

Perhaps if women were to ask men what can I do for you instead of demanding men to do for them good men would eventually return to dating pool. Supply always follows demand and today’s women only have themselves to blame for the dwindling supply for so called good men.
