Simone Biles, an olympics gold medalist and bronze winner is on the road to stardom living out her dreams on the path that we all would like to be on if we were an all around natural gymnast that she is blessed to be.

Born, Simone Arianne Biles on March 14, 1997, she is a Texas resident with something to prove, that dreams can be lived if you truly believe. So far, so good in 2016. In the Olympic Games, she has won a gold medal for “Team,” a gold medal for “All-Around”, a gold medal for “Vault,” and last but not least, a bronze for “Balance Beam” (wikipedia.org, 2016).

Simone Biles is also known for her artistry in gymnastics. Her championships include: 2016 individual all-around and vault champion; three-time world all-around champion (2013-2015); two-time world balance beam champion (2014,2015); four time United States national all-around champion (2013-2016) and a member of the gold medal-winning American teams at the 2014 and 2015 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships and the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro (wikipedia.org, 2016).

With such a track record, one can truly pat themselves on the back for a good job well done. The eighteen year old lives a pretty ordinary life, spending time with family, friends whom are also her teammates, and training. She is also a natural for acting, starring in a 2016 Tide “Pods” commercial, Simone shows us all that their is always room for growth. You have to celebrate you being you sometimes. To dream a dream and to live out the very dream you dreamed of is truly a blessing.

Self discipline

In the case of Simone Biles, she shows us that incorporating a “hard work” work ethic is the most important thing next to character building in living out your dreams. Without self discipline, erasing the bad habits, you can only become stagnant or fail when trying to achieve goals. So put your best foot forward and set some “tangible” goals today.

Setting Goals

One should always set “reachable” goals. Your long and short term goals should state specifics about what it is exactly you are trying to achieve and when you want to accomplish it. Be it a short term or long term goal, goals cannot be achieved without setting a specific time for them to be achieved. Leave room to check your progress. This will motivate you to set and achieve more goals as you see proof that the system is working. Stay positive even if things don’t go as planned. Remember, practice makes perfect.

Dream Quotes

This is a great “dream quote” from one of my favorite “empowerment” authors, Maya Angelou. Achievements are not normally something that can be acquired fast. But with time, repetition, and routine execution, you can receive more than just your achievements. Become a master of whatever it is you are into. A skillful hand wins the day. Like Simone, we too can live out our dreams if we train ourselves to achieve. Training yourself to achieve means you will spend less time failing at what it is you do. Knowledge is power. Educate yourself. And those dreams you dream will always be near.
